Since 1969, Meals on Wheels has been serving the City of Edmonton by providing great meals to its homebound, isolated, and senior citizens. We’ve able to do so through the generous support of community helpers such as yourself. Now this a way for us to give a little back to you while still helping those in need.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, MoW has seen a 119% increase in number of meals we provide each month resulting in a need for more staff and supplies. Sadly our traditional in-person fundraising methods aren’t doable at this time but we still need to generate funds to not only maintain what we have built, but to continue to grow to meet all the new clients!

The funds raised from this raffle will go to support our Subsidized Meal Program which ensures that everyone who applies to us, regardless of income level, is served a fresh, healthy meal. But Meals on Wheels is more than just food. Your participation will provide:

• relief from the anxiety felt by seniors who are unsure how they will feed themselves.
• peace of mind for family members who worry about their loved one who lives alone.
• independence for those who couldn't remain living in their homes if they had to cook for themselves.
• human connection for those who see no one other than the EMOW volunteer who delivers their meal.
• critical information and resources for those without access to the internet or other means of finding such.
