Robertson Memorial Br #17 is a Legion with a proud heritage of meeting the needs of our Veterans, our Veterans’ families, our members, and our community of Medicine Hat.
We need help for a utility bill for $7,000 to keep the lights on.
Our Legion is large and old but in great condition, therefore we host many activities such as pool, darts for young and old, senior dance lessons, Supper clubs and even our Medicine Hat service clubs that need a place to meet. We also offer a great menu and host weddings and funerals.
Before the Pandemic we were a hub of activity and making enough money to pay the bills and to maintain and repair as need required. But like many other not-for-profits the Pandemic has changed everything. We are trying to keep afloat but are experiencing financial difficulties.
